In a world filled with constant motion, distractions, and anticipation of what comes next,

Presence reminds us to appreciate the richness of the moment at hand. Through the ethereal

and transformative medium of glass, this exhibition explores what it means to slow down, pay

attention, and engage more deeply with the world around us.

Embodying the essence of presence, glass is simultaneously delicate and resilient, transparent

and reflective, elegant and foundational. Glass responds and moves with its environment, as

well as stands in humble silence. It is aware and calm; it reminds us to be still. The artworks

gathered here reveal subtle shifts in color, form, and light -- relationships that can only be fully

appreciated when deliberately sought out.

Presence is ultimately an exploration of balance: between stillness and movement, attention

and distraction, fragility and strength. Artists Margot Dermody, Eric Hernandez, Chris Ross, and

Leo Fine create space to pause and reconnect with the immediacy of experience. In doing so,

we are reminded that meaning is often found not in striving toward the next destination, but in

fully inhabiting the moment we are already in.
