She has also exhibited at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Gallery, William Pitt Union, Gallery One | Collective Works, Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media, and the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.
Dermody participated in the Artist Residency Program at Pittsburgh Glass Center in 2021 and continues to work there as a studio artist. Working across painting and sculpture, she explores the relationship between light, material, and emotion through an intuitive process of building, carving, and refining. Her work traces a dialogue between fragility and strength, presence and absence, holding a quiet tension between shadow and illumination, inviting viewers to consider how light emerges within and around us.
